Q + A

Our New Name

To mark the beginning of our life as one, we've chosen to combine our last names, creating EL-Bisiolu. This name thoughtfully unites Amadi’s family name, Essoka-Lasenberry, with Bazit’s, Bisiolu. It's a meaningful way for us to honor both our families heritage and to signify the formation of our own family, a bond that has deepened immeasurably with the birth of our son.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by June 28th through the 'RSVP' section on our wedding website. If you encounter any issues, feel free to email us at ELBisiolu@gmail.com. We can't wait to hear from you!

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited space and a seated dinner with assigned seating, we kindly ask that only those guests whose names are listed on the RSVP join us. We are at full capacity and unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us make this a special day!

Do you have a registry?

We feel so fortunate to already share a home and life together with our baby, and we truly have everything we need in terms of household items. What we cherish most is your presence and support as we celebrate this next chapter. Instead of traditional gifts, we kindly ask for contributions toward our family’s future. If you’d like to give, you can do so through our registry fund, in person on the big day or by check, made out to “Amadi and Bazit EL-Bisiolu”. Your generosity, no matter the amount, means the world to us, and we’re so grateful to have you in our lives.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding celebration will take place both indoors and outdoors to make the most of the beautiful surroundings! The ceremony will be held outdoors behind the mansion, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. Afterward, the cocktail hour will be on the grounds of the arboretum, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for you to enjoy. Finally, the reception will take place in a tented area on the grounds, blending elegance with the natural charm of the setting. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there a dress code?

Please dress comfortably for the weather and setting in Semi-Formal or Garden Party Attire, or traditional Yoruba/Cameroonian attire. Think colorful dresses, dressy separates, or light suits, paired with shoes suited for grass and garden paths.

Where should I park?

Free parking will be available on site. Once arriving a parking attendant will direct your car to the parking area.
