Awbury Arboretum is located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, about 18 miles from Philadelphia International Airport and 9 miles from 30th Street Station.

If you’re planning to stay in the city, Chestnut Hill, Wynnefield Heights, and Germantown neighborhoods are the most convenient options for being close to the venue. The City Avenue area, which borders both Philadelphia and Lower Merion, is also a convenient option with several hotels and easy highway access. Center City offers a vibrant urban experience with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do. For a more historic feel, Old City features charming cobblestone streets, iconic landmarks, and fantastic dining—great for those interested in sightseeing. The Art Museum area is another lovely choice, with easy access to Philadelphia’s world-renowned museums and close proximity to Center City.
